Dispatcher Needed Urgently
The Operations Department is looking for a suitable candidate to join its team. The successful candidate will play the primary role in the Dispatching Activities of the company.
The successful candidate must be hard-working, willing to use his/her initiative, a highly motivated team-player, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to interact with a diverse staff. The incumbent must also be a quick-thinker who is solution oriented.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receiving and routing customer orders
- Checking and preparing the list of pending delivery orders
- Ensure the transport routing optimisation and preparation of results for analysis
- Preparing delivery notes and purchase orders
- Delivery reconciliation for payment on invoices
- Preparing reporting as necessary
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Operations Management would be desirable with at least 3 years in a similar position; other relevant qualifications and/or experience will be considered.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Must be customer oriented
- Possess good interpersonal skills
- Possess positive work ethics and attitude
- Able to learn quickly and adapt to new situations
- Must be computer literate
- Knowledge of SAP is an asset
