CAREER OPPORTUNITY: PETROL STATION CUSTOMER SERVICE (PUMP) ATTENDANT
Our client is seeking to recruit Petrol Station Customer Service (Pump) Attendants in the Manor Park (Kingston) area.
Purpose of position
To serve customers at the pump through the selling of products and services, in exchange for payments (cash or card), while providing excellent customer service.
Principal responsibilities
• Greet and promptly assist customers
• Market and sell products to prospective customers
• Fuel service
• Receive payments for gasoline or lubricants
• Deposit cash to cashier following drop off policies and procedures
• Maintaining the general cleanliness of the station including restrooms, pump island, lube racks, garbage bins etc.
• Performing under bonnet services
• Ensuring that all customers adhere to petrol service station’s safety rules and requirements
Minimum qualifications & attributes
• CXC passes in 3 or more subjects including passes in English and Mathematics at a 3 or better.
• Customer-oriented, pleasant and friendly
• Knowledge of business practices and etiquette
• Experience working in a petrol service station would be an asset
• Knowledge of safety procedures in a petrol service station would be an asset
