Accounting Clerk Kingston



Description:

  • Responsible for providing accounting support to accounting supervisors and other managers within the department.
  • Keys daily worksheets to the general ledger system
  • Ensures files are complete and maintained as needed
  • Handles accounts receivable duties, and assists accounting personnel
  • Perform accounting and clerical functions to support supervisors.
  • Compile and sort invoices and checks.
  • Record business transactions and key daily worksheets to the general ledger system.
  • Support accounting personnel.
  • Provide front desk customer service.
  • File and tally deposits.
  • Work with databases and bank accounts.
  • Research, track, and resolve accounting problems
Qualifications: 
  • At least 2 years working in an accounts department
  • At least CAT Level 2 required
